Payment Terms
1. General Principles
All transactions conducted through the Powervello Limited website are strictly business-to-business (B2B). Prices quoted on the website or in our communications are for evaluation purposes and do not constitute a final binding price until confirmed on an official invoice. Powervello reserves the right to select and approve payment methods based on the nature of the order and the buyer’s qualification.
2. Supported Payment Methods
Based on the order type, order value, and buyer location, Powervello currently accepts the following payment methods:
- PayPal Invoice: Used primarily for sample orders and approved small-value invoices. After reviewing your request, our team issues a digital invoice directly to your email. You can pay securely using a credit card, debit card, or PayPal balance.
- iDEAL: Available specifically for our business customers in the Netherlands. This method allows you to pay approved sample invoices directly and securely through your own Dutch bank.
- Bank Transfer (T/T): Used for bulk OEM/ODM orders and standard commercial transactions. Detailed bank instructions will be provided on the formal proforma invoice.
- Letters of Credit (L/C): Available for large-volume bulk orders subject to prior approval and specific conditions.
3. Payment for Sample Orders
For sample orders placed through the website, we process payments via PayPal Invoice or iDEAL (for customers in the Netherlands).
- Process: Once your sample request is reviewed and approved by our sales team, we will issue an invoice directly to your registered business email address.
- Validity: The invoice is valid for 7 days from the date of issue. If payment is not received within this period, the sample request will be automatically cancelled.
- Rationale: We do not integrate automated online checkout for sample orders. This deliberate policy allows us to review each request, ensuring our resources are dedicated to genuine business projects rather than speculative or small retail transactions.
4. Payment for Bulk OEM/ODM Orders
For mass production and bulk commercial orders, standard B2B payment terms apply. Unless otherwise agreed in writing in the proforma invoice, payments are structured as follows:
- Standard Terms (T/T – Bank Transfer): 30% deposit upon order confirmation to initiate production, and 70% balance before shipment.
- Letters of Credit (L/C): Available for large volume orders subject to prior approval and specific conditions outlined in the proforma invoice.
Production will not commence until the initial deposit has been cleared in our bank account. Goods will not be shipped until the final balance has been received in full.
5. Currency
All quotations and invoices are issued in EUR or USD. If you require invoicing in a different currency, please discuss this with our sales team prior to order confirmation. Exchange rate fluctuations are the responsibility of the buyer.
6. Taxes and Customs Duties
Unless explicitly stated as DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) in the proforma invoice, all product prices and shipping costs quoted by Powervello exclude local import duties, Value Added Tax (VAT), and customs clearance fees. The buyer is responsible for all applicable taxes and duties imposed by the destination country (e.g., Germany or the Netherlands).
7. Late Payment
Timely payment is essential to maintain agreed production and shipping schedules. If a payment is delayed beyond the agreed terms, Powervello reserves the right to:
- Suspend ongoing production or delay shipment until full payment is received.
- Require 100% advance payment for future orders.
8. Sample Fee Deduction
To support genuine project evaluations, the unit cost of a previously purchased sample (excluding shipping and handling fees) may be credited toward a subsequent bulk OEM order for that same model. This deduction is applicable provided the bulk order meets the model’s Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) and is placed within 90 days of the sample delivery. This will be reflected as a discount on the final proforma invoice for the bulk order.
